care of baby rabbits
I bread several at a time that way if
you have a doe who does not take care of her kits you can give the kits to
another doe. check the next box every day to make sure she is keeping it clean
you might need to change nest boxes if its dirty. I try not to touch the kits
till there about three days old so not to anger the doe who might kill them if
she thinks i messed with them. check to make sure they look healthy. they should
be getting a little bit of hair by three days. If a doe has two many kits she
might not be able to feed them all in this case give a few to a doe who does not
have as many kits. When you give kits to another doe put a little bit of vanilla
on her nose that why she wont smell the baby for a while. I give my does a
little hand full of calf manna to help her get her milk started for about three
days.
